I rest my case. The next time you want to take a vacation, do a little networking and you won't even have to plan. OR, go to TURKEY, because they are some of the most amazing and hospitable people you will meet in your life and you will be sure to have a great time!

Networking=The Easy Button
Recently, I was able to go on a long-weekend trip to Istanbul, Turkey. With a simple 2 hour flight from Kiev to Istanbul, it was an amazing way to spend 5 days in a fascinating, wonderful and international city! I was traveling with a friend who has a Turkish American friend here in Kiev who has his own business. This friend (confused yet?) of course has many friends in Istanbul. So, when we arrived at the airport, we didn't have to heckle for a taxi or wonder where we were going. We simply looked for Haldun, our "friend of a friend", and he took us to our hotel, then to the grand bazar! The next day, we went over to Haldun's apartment so that we could meet his little son, and then he and his wife took us to this crazy fish market for an amazing dinner. We're talking loud, pointing at what fish we want them to cook, gypsy bands playing throughout the place. It was wild and awesome! At the end of our trip, Haldun arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. It was like we didn't even have to plan anything!
